About us

A family house, made for comfort

La Solana is run by the same family as The Son Bistro on Lê Lợi, our sister house in the Old Town. We opened the doors at 47 Tôn Đức Thắng on 3 October 2025, with lion dancers, drums and the people who helped us build it.

Solana is the Spanish word for a sunny spot, the corner of a house where the light comes in. What we want to give every guest is simple: comfort. A place that feels warm like home, a quiet corner you can come back to and work in without hurry, a nourishing plate made from good ingredients, and a coffee or a drink that leaves you happy.

Travellers stop by for a slow breakfast between sights. Remote workers and expats return for the calm rooms and familiar faces. However long you stay, we hope you feel at home.

Workshops, families and long tables

The house fills up with more than brunch. Upstairs we host small workshops and gatherings, from a Hội An culture embroidery class to a wildlife photography workshop. Families are welcome too, with high chairs and room for kids to draw. Every visit can end up on the LaSol's Moment wall by the door.
